About Teide
Teide Schepers was born and raised in The Hague and attended the Hotelschool Roc Mondriaan after high school. The wine teachers' stories piqued Teide's interest, and he began to participate in wine-tasting/theory contests organised by hotel schools in the Netherlands. Winning these competitions earned him a complimentary spot at the National Wineacademy of The Netherlands.

Teide worked with many exclusive and rare references after working in some of the finest restaurants in the world and in the Netherlands. This was the most exciting aspect of his job.

Teide is currently a Hotelschool The Hague Fast-track student seeking out to learn more about the hospitality industry.

Teide's next goal was to gain international recognition. Because these occupations require frequent travel abroad. It will be easier to explain which path you took. That is why Teide enrolled in the WSET-3 Advanced programme.
Teide was able to obtain the diploma with the highest possible score, 'Distinction,' thanks to a fasttrack programme.

Comité Interprofessionnel du vin de Champagne

Many wine trips were cancelled due to the pandemic. Teide was invited to participate in the Comité Interprofessionnel du Vin de Champagne's online course, which he successfully completed in March 2021.

After winning the Wineacademy Challenge Cup (Wijnacademie Wisseltrofee), Teide was awarded a place in the Wineacademy. Within a year, he graduated from the study 'Vinologist of the Wineacademy' and is now registered with his fellow Vinologists.
Teide was the youngest person in the year 2020 to hold this title.
